MA Education, English (60 SP, 120 SP)

Within the Master of Education English programme, English didactics will constitute a pivotal point on your path to becoming a reflective practitioner. As you continue your studies, you will extend your competence in planning and conducting lessons and develop an ability to reflect critically upon didactic issues in key areas of the language teaching profession: school and curriculum, research into the didactics of foreign language education, and the formulation of social, educational and political frameworks for teaching and learning foreign languages. The option of writing a master’s thesis for the MEd will provide you with an opportunity to undertake independent research on a project of your own in the field of foreign language education or didactics of bilingual foreign language education.
