Langscape
The ELE section is a member of LANGSCAPE, an international network of scholars who are dedicated to linguistic diversity, social multilingualism, individual plurilingualism, and language teaching.
Through LANGSCAPE, we link with language scholars and educators (socio- and psycholinguists, psychologists, sociologists, language teachers, policy makers and language educators) across Europe and beyond. Members subscribe to various angles of research and disciplinary views on language matters. They conduct joint research projects and meet annually for thematic conferences, organise doctoral events and seminars. They also engage in collaborative teaching projects in initial teacher education.
LANGSCAPE is an informal network which is organised in four directorates:
Research
Teaching
Publications
Doctoral Support
The network coordinator is supported by a Board of Directors group of research and network consultants. The current coordinator is Stephan Breidbach, assisted by Anka Bergmann and Katrin Schultze from Humboldt-University.
LANGSCAPE publishes the peer-reviewed e-journal Language Education and Multilingualism. The journal publishes original research and accepts papers in several languages.
