doctoral students
This page is designed to help the PhD students of our department to get to know each other and to network. If you are interested in doing a PhD at our department, the links below can help you to get some info on what it means to enroll as a doctoral candidate. What you have to do, is:
- to check whether you fulfill all requirements (PhD regulations and guidelines of our faculty - and the faculty's own site on PhDs)
- find a suitable supervisor and talk to him/her
- fill out the application form (Formular zur Anmeldung der Promotionsabsicht)
- let your supervisor fill out the second section
- bring the application form to Uta Kabelitz of the examinations office at the German Department (DOR 24, room 3.203), together with an authenticated copy of your graduation certificate (if it is from Humboldt-Universität, you can try and show the original only)
- enroll in the PhD degree course (the documents will be sent to you - and don't forget to pay the fees!)
